New York 50, Ventura (later Istalena), bought by GF Baker, Jr. of NY City. The NY 50 sloops (LOA 72'0", LWL 50'0", beam 14'7", draft 9'9") were designed as racer/cruisers by Herreshoff Manufacturing c 1913. Waterline model with hull of bass & holly, laid decking. Well detailed; all deck gear and fittings, sloop rig,; set sails of paper, and work/action figures.
