Built at the Washington Navy Yard in 1807, designed by Josiah Fox as a fast man-of-war and at 117', 450 tons would carry a crew of 140 men. Plank-on-frame construction, starboard side fully painted and copper sheathed, port side exposed framing and natural wood planking. She is rigged per research and carries three boats.
