Launched in 1935 for the French Line, the Normandie won the Blue Riband from the Itallian Line's Rex on her maiden voyage. Solid hull construction of balsa and hollywood shavings, styrene and paper, is fully painted and carries general and appropriate deck gear. Built in the style of World War I and II English identification models.
