224’ clipper ship designed by William H. Webb of NY and launched in 1851. Considered one of the most graceful "China clippers", she set a speed record from Shanghai to San Francisco in 34 days. Solid hull construction of basswood, planked over topsides, built-up bulwarks and laid deck planking. Includes all appropriate deck gear, fittings, and furniture. Rigged with all standing and basic running lines per practice and research. Fully painted with natural wood highlights and/or trim work.
