Mississippi River boat built in 1866 in New Albany, Indiana, ran a regular service from New Orleans to Louisville, Kentucky, then would leave the Mississippi at Cairo, Illinois for the trip up the Ohio River. LOA 285’6”; Breadth 46’; Depth 9’; 1,467 tons. Winner of the race down the Mississippi between Natchez and Robert E. Lee in June and July of 1870.
