British cutter yacht, built by George L. Watson in 1878 for James Coats, Jr. of the Coats and Clark family. She was built as a racing 10-tonner, a class growing in popularity, she won a great many of her races. LWL of 38'8" and a breadth of 7'9". The model is solid wood hull of agba; limewood decking is laid & nibbed. Sloop rigged, natural hull bottom, black topsides, all basic deck gear & fittings.
