British three island type passenger cargo vessel which ran a regular service between New York & London for the Monarch Steamship Company, Ltd. Built by Napier & Miller at Glasgow in 1923, and had an overall length of 421’. Solid molded hull with completebuilt-up deck superstructures, numerous hand fashioned brass fittings, all appropriate deck gear, cargo hatches & cranes per her design.
