By: RECENT ACQUISITIONS, ANTIQUE Models, Artist Unknown
Antique near scale wood and painted 18-gun naval brig model c. mid 19th century. This model depicts a typical flush deck naval vessel either of American or British origin. Guns are brass with wood carriages, includes various deck furniture, fittings and hatch gratings per general era and a full female figurehead. The stern has decorative hand painted windows and details, plus a life boat hanging off stern davits. Fully rigged model and sets into a fitted hull baseboard simulating a sea.
