Peter Ward

Peter Ward (1936- ): Born in Hull, Yorkshire, England, Mr. Ward comes from a very nautical background indeed. His great-grandfather, Captain John Richard Ward, was a distinguished elder brother of Trinity House and it is thought that he is a descendant of the great marine artist, John Ward of Hull. His interest in ships and accumulated skills led him to continue the great tradition of yacht and ship design in the production of the half-model. He is represented in London galleries such as The Marine Gallery, Cowes, Isle of Wight, and yacht clubs along the English coast.
